Mediation Process

The producers of the X Factor edit out all of the irrelevant or boring seconds throughout the clip involving one singer, and only show the important parts. In this particular clip, the reactions of the judges will most likely not be from this exact audition, as they will add in only certain emotions to match the mood of the song. Another thing that the producers will manipulate is the fact that the music in the background wasn't actually there in the real audition, it has been added in to add effect. This engages the viewer more, and creates emotions.



Mediation Process

Like the previous video, this audition is generally classed as 'good'. The judges appear happy with the boy singing, although the emotions that are shown on the show are most likely from another audition, possibly even on another day.
